Berry Writers Festival

Many Arbour residents make significant contributions to the Berry community and this year the Berry Writers Festival 2024 was most fortunate that many residents worked as volunteers to enable the festival to happen.

Thank you to the many Arbour Residents who worked as volunteers in a variety of roles such as ticket collectors, ushers, author escorts and greeting/guides during the festival. 

The Berry Writers Festival 2024 committee included two Arbour residents who were also volunteers. Mary Cucanne, the Artistic Director who devised the program and invited the authors and Colleen Fry, Volunteer Coordinator.

Berry Writers Festival was very fortunate to have The Arbour as a Platinum Sponsor and James Robinson one of The Arbour Berry’s owners as Chairperson of the BWF Committee 2024.

It was a great event and the Arbour and its residents played a significant role in its success.
