Books in Homes

The Arbour Berry is a major sponsor of Books in Homes, an extraordinary program that has delivered almost 3 million books to children in School Communities where students are typically socio-disadvantaged, indigenous or refugees.

The Arbour has continued it’s contribution to the Books in Homes initiative this year with three special school visits starting up again this November and December involving studies reading with their buddies for a fun filled experience.

Each child has been able to choose three books each term to keep and build their home libraries. As well, the entire Preview Pack we provide, consisting of 48 books for the school is integrated into the main school library for all children – current and future – to access.
